Anwar Reda downs Cuskelly in thrilling final

Top seed Ali Anwar Reda downed Australia’s Ryan Cuskelly in a close four-game final at the Pyramid International squash tournament in New York.

Cuskelly won the first game 11-9 but the Egyptian came back to win the next three and claim the match 9-11, 11-5, 11-8, 11-8 in 80 minutes.

It was Anwar Reda’s second consecutive marathon win over an Australian, following his semi-final victory over Scott Arnold.

Cuskelly now moves on to the Comfort Inn Open in Vancouver.
