Tough battle but Urquhart makes semis

- Squash Australia

Third seed Donna Urquhart survived a huge battle to move into the quarter-finals of the Chairman’s Cup women’s squash tournament in Hong Kong on Thursday with a five game win over England’s Lauren Siddall.
There was hardly a point between the two women as Urquhart emerged with an 11-9, 9-11, 11-9, 10-12, 12-10 victory.
The 23-year-old from New South Wales must now hope to recover in time to play second seed Rebecca Chiu, who beat fellow Hong Kong player Joey Chan 4-11, 11-5, 11-7, 11-7.
The second semi-final is between top seeded Kiwi Jaclyn Hawkes and India’s fourth seed Joshna Chinappa.
