Indian pair take ESR Doubles Gold over Aussies.

Kasey Brown and Donna Urquhart lost in the closest of matches to Indian pair Joshna Chinnapa/ Dapika Pallikal in the Women's final at the ESR Invitational Doubles in Manchester tonight (Aust Time).

The Indians may well have claimed Delhi 2010 favoritism with their 11/10, 3/11, 11/10 win, but the result shows the Aussie pairing will definitely be in the hunt for medals success in Delhi later in the year.

The event is a major hitout for the leading Commonwealth nations and a key selection event for many of the teams, including Australia before the Commonwealth Games in Delhi later this year. The tour to UK by the Australian Delhi 2010 Shadow Squad is supported by the Australian Commonwealth Games Association.
