Big upset as King downs Grinham

- Squash Australia

Reigning Australian Open squash champion Joelle King of New Zealand stunned top seeded Australian Rachael Grinham for the second time in as many meetings as the Kiwi clinched the Texas Open in Houston in four games on Sunday.
King, who was unseeded this week, disposed of higher ranked players Donna Urquhart and Dominique Lloyd-Walter on her way to the final.
And the 21-year-old showed why she is considered a future top 10 player with her 11-8, 6-11, 11-8, 11-9 win over former world number one Grinham.
It was King’s second straight win over the Queenslander, following her first round triumph in last year’s New Zealand Open.
Grinham now flies to the Cayman Islands where she joins fellow Aussies Urquhart and Kasey Brown in the first round of the Cayman Open.
