Zoe zooms into final four

- Squash Australia

Brisbane squash player Zoe Petrovansky has romped her way into the semi-finals of the NSC Classic in Kuala Lumpur with a devastating win over young Malaysian Tan Yan Xin.
The 20-year-old Petrovansky was in complete control throughout as she wrapped up an 11-7, 11-4, 11-3 win in only 20 minutes.
She will now play third seed Misaki Kobayashi from Japan in the semi-finals with the winner to play either Englishwoman Lauren Selby or Malaysia’s Pushppa Devi in Saturday’s final.
Petrovansky has played Kobayashi once before, in Darwin last year, where she went down to the Japanese player in the quarter-finals of the Top End Open.
But Petrovansky has risen 30 places on the world rankings since then to number 68 and will go into the semi-final as slight favourite.
