Australian hopes ended at Rochester

Englishman James Snell ended Australian interest at the Rochester Pro in New York when he ousted US-based Wade Johnstone in the quarter-finals in three tough games.
In a match lasting 50 minutes, third seeded Snell just edged it 12-10, 11-9, 11-8.
He will now play second seed Karim Abdel Gawad in the semi-finals, with the winner to take on either Cesar Salazar of Tim Pashley.
