Cardwell claims second at Milo, Saxby third

Melbourne’s Sarah Cardwell fell to top seeded Malaysian Low Wee Nee in an epic five-game final in the Girls 19 Years division at the Milo All Stars junior tournament in Kuala Lumpur.
Cardwell had a 2/1 lead only to see Low come storming back to clinch the title 11-4, 12-14, 6-11, 11-5, 11-6.
Cardwell had earlier beaten Australian teammate Tamika Saxby in the semi-finals 11-6, 12-10, 7-11, 11-7.
Saxby went on to beat Frenchwoman Melissa Alves in the third place play off 5-11, 11-7, 7-11, 9-11, 11-6.
