Hedrick last Aussie standing in Brisbane

Hedrick downed local favourite Nathan Stevenson in the first semi-final 10-12, 11-1, 11-5, 11-4 before Charlton saw off third seeded South Australian Mike Corren 5-11, 7-11, 11-9, 11-1, 11-5.
Hedrick and Charlton have never met before but the Australian world number 70 heads into the match as slight favourite after winning the Australia Day Challenge in January then claiming titles in Canberra, Adelaide and Sydney.
The women’s final will be between top seeded New Zealander Amanda Landers-Murphy and third ranked Czech player Olga Ertlova.
Landers-Murphy downed South Africa’s Cheyna Tucker 12-10, 11-3, 11-8 while Ertlova outlasted England’s Victoria Bell 11-9, 3-11, 11-9, 11-3.
