Kasey bows out in China

-

Malaysian surprise packet Low Wee Wern sent Kasey Brown crashing out of the China Open semi-finals in Shanghai on Saturday after a convincing straight games win.
Low came from 7-10 down in the first game to record her first ever win over the Australian 12-10, 11-7, 11-5.
She now plays New Zealand’s former Australian Open champion Joelle King in the final.
King also sprung a surprise when she beat fifth seed Alison Waters 12-10, 11-4, 11-6 in the second semi-final.
“The first game was crucial, I managed to come back and win 12-10 and that made a big difference for me,” Low said.
“If Kasey had won that one it would have given her a lot more confidence.”
