Australian player Christine Nunn has been named the 2019 RMIT University Female Athlete of the Year.

In 2018 Christine was a member of the Australian Commonwealth Games Team and Australian World Women’s team, and currently holds a world ranking of 44.

Christine finished as the highest ranked player after the Australian Squash Tour season, earning top seeding for the year end Australian Squash Tour Finals on the Gold Coast in December.

Part of the RMIT Elite Athlete Program throughout her studies, Christine will graduate with a Bachelor of Education this year and take up a role as a primary school teacher in 2019.
