National Coach, Paul Price will become full time with Squash Australia in January as a result of an exceptional 12 months. Having travelled the world as a top ranked professional squash player, Paul knows what it takes to reach the top. Commitment, dedication, and a vision are among the many qualities he possesses from his worldly experiences. Paul is a former World No. 4 and member of the successful 1999 and 2001 Australian World Team. In 2002, he won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and is also a British Open Finalist.

Paul is now focused on helping others reach their potential as a coach, speaker and entrepreneur in the Squash industry with his company Inspired Peak Performance squash and recent involvement in opening an F45 Training Studio. He is driven to add value to others, along with directing them towards their own path of success.

Paul undertook the role of National Coach and was the Australian Junior team coach at the WSF 2017 World Junior Championships and the 2017 World Doubles Championships in Manchester where Australian pair Cameron Pilley and Ryan Cuskelly claimed Gold in the Men’s doubles.

Squash Australia CEO, Richard Vaughan commented “It is great to have Paul on board full time following his first year part time in the role where he has been exceptional. Paul brings a great mix of the highest playing experience, great coaching and leadership skills, but most importantly from working with Paul the past 12 months I can confirm Paul is extremely motivated to move squash in the right direction with the 2018 Youth Olympics and hopefully Paris 2024 Olympics on the horizon”.

Paul will take on the position of Head of Performance and be responsible for the day to day running of the performance programme both strategically and the National training Centre programme.
