The stage is set for two epic semi-finals in the Shepparton International on Saturday, August 17.

New Zealand's Evan Williams will take on Egypt's Moustafa El Sirty and Australia's Joseph White will take on Scotland's Angus Gillams for a spot in Sunday's final.

All four players had impressive victories in the quarter finals on Friday night.

Williams continued his impressive run by taking down fellow Newleander and eighth seeded Sion Wiggin in three games. The number one seed took the first game 11-4 to set up an outstanding win.

El Sirty continued his impressive run by taking down sixth seeded Darren Chan in the most impressive display of the night. El Sirty came into International finishing runner-up in his previous two tournaments and continued his hot streak with an impressive three-game win.

Australian and fifth seeded White won the first two games in his match up with fourth seeded Bryan Lim Tze Kang to win in four games. White responded well after a courageous five-game win over fellow Australian Sam Ejtemai in the second round. He carried this form with a strong start against his quarter final opponent and didn't look back.

Gillams took down the highly fancied American Atticus Kelly in four-games. After dropping the first game 11-9, the second seed powered home to win the next three to set up a massive clash with the Australian in the semi-finals.

SEMI FINALS
Evan Williams (NZL) v Moustafa El Sirty (Egy) - 3pm
This promises to be a very tight contest. Would not be surprised to see at least one game go to 13-11 or more. Williams has been outstanding in his opening two matches with such tremendous power hitting and placement. El Sirty has been runner-up in the last two competitions. Victory here and he will be very hard to stop and win the final on Sunday.

Joseph White (Aust) v Angus Gillams (Scot) - 3pm
The Australian has had the most enduring matches of the remaining four in the competition and played outstanding. Gillams took down Finch in the quarter-finals after coming back from being one game down. This is a match that can go either way.
